Have a browse of this Hackney History blog which is full of very interesting printed material from a more radical Hackney in the Thatcher years. Interesting notes about the MET and the TSG being a foul duo. Also this appropriation of Tintin for revolutionary socialist purposes!

The payoff is at the end! I assume [probably like the art on sale] they just don’t quite ‘get it.’

These posters by Ken Garland are something I keep remembering. I wonder if this technique can still work today.
